UPDATE: The road has since reopened.
Road users are being advised that the Foreglen Road in Dungiven is currently closed due to a serious road traffic collision.
The road is closed between the junctions with Drumrane Road and Dernaflaw Road.
Police are asking that all drivers exercise caution and use an alternative route for journeys.
