Gardaí called after unexpected plane lands near Letterkenny

An unscheduled plane landed near Letterkenny yesterday, prompting a Garda response.

It has emerged that the aircraft touched down in the Donegal Divisional area during the afternoon.

However, following enquiries, no criminal offences were disclosed.
