A security alert has ended in Derry after two suspect devices found in the Skeoge area were confirmed to be viable pipe bombs by Ammunition Technical Officers.
They’ve now been made safe and removed, and will now be subject to further forensic examination.
The alert which saw over 20 homes in the Glenabbey Close/Beraghvale area evacuated has been stood down, and residents have returned to their homes.
