The North Western Regional President of St Vincent de Paul, Rosa Glackin, is urging people who are struggling to reach out sooner rather than later.
Speaking on today’s Nine til Noon Show, she said many are barely surviving due to rising food and energy costs.
Ms Glackin predicts this festive period will be another very busy term for the organisation in Donegal.
She added that there is a growing number of working people now needing support, continuing a worrying trend:
