The volunteer crew of the Arranmore lifeboat has assisted in a second medical evacuation from the island in five days.
Following an early call on Sunday morning, the crew wasrequested by Malin Head Coast Guard to assist in a medical evacuation at 07.17 yestrday morning.
The patient was transferred to the lifeboat by the local ambulance and brought to a waiting ambulance in Burtonport for referral to Letterkenny University Hospital.
