Derry’s promotion hopes took a big dent in Ardee yesterday as they were beaten 1-19 to 0-18 by Louth in Division 2 of the National Football League.
Ciaran Meenagh’s side are fourth in the standings heading into their final fixture against Cavan next weekend.
