The remains of 69 infants in total have been recovered at the grounds of the former Mother and Baby Home in Tuam.
Coffins containing multiple bodies were retrieved in County Galway yesterday, in a second burial ground close the original one.
The exhumation, which began last July, is expected to last until 2028, where it’s believed 769 infants were buried.
