Sinn Féin to table ‘no confidence’ motion in the Government

Sinn Féin has announced it will be tabling a motion of no confidence in the Government.

Party leader Mary Lou McDonald says “the actions of Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and Independents have been disastrous” and claims “they have lost confidence of the public”.

Deputy McDonald says the package of supports expected to be announced by Government this evening needs to include “maximum reductions” to help with cost of living.
