
Inland Fisheries Ireland has announced almost €15 million in funding for fish barrier mitigation projects across the country, including nine in Donegal.
The €14.88 million programme will support 91 projects aimed at improving fish passage, restoring river connectivity and enhancing aquatic habitats.
Donegal projects selected include works at Boyston’s Carry Weir, Newmills Weir and Crow River Bridge.
