The historical sex offences trial of former DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson is due to start later.
The 63-year-old has pleaded not guilty to 18 charges, involving two alleged victims between 1985 and 2008.
A trial of the facts of his wife Eleanor Donaldson will proceed simultaneously, a process that cannot result in her being criminally convicted.
She denies charges of aiding and abetting.
