Double yellow lines have been painted on the road to Stroove Beach.
This was after a local bus company was forced to cancel several routes due to the road being blocked by drivers heading to the beach and parking on both sides of the road.
Bernard McGuinness, Manager of Foyle Coaches in Redcastle, has welcomed the double yellow lines.
He says he hopes it will make drivers think twice about where they park:
