
92 motorists have been arrested on suspicion of drink or drug driving during the June Bank Holiday road safety operation.
Gardaí say more than 2,250 drivers have also been detected speeding since the crackdown began on Thursday.
A further 270 road users were caught using a mobile phone or failing to wear a seatbelt.
2 people have died on the roads during the operation, bringing the total number of road fatalities this year to 71.
