Fintan Dewhirst has set a new Donegal 400 metres hurdle record.
The Tir Chonaill AC athlete finished in 50.77 seconds in Malta at the EAP Malta International on Saturday afternoon.
Dewhirst finished in second behind Italian Alessio Sommacal from Italy who finished in a time of 50.42 seconds.
