Government to release 10 days of oil from national reserve

The government is releasing 10 days worth of oil from the national reserve.

According to the International Energy Agency, all EU countries must have 90 days’ worth of national oil in case of a crisis.

Countries are now being asked to release 10 days’ worth of this, in an effort to stabilise prices, which have been increasing because of the conflict in the Middle East.
