Sinn Féín have announced their candidates for Foyle ahead of next year’s assembly election.
The party is set to run three candidates for the first time since the 2016 election, with Ciara Ferguson MLA joined by Cllrs Sandra Duffy and Chris Jackson.
North Belfast MP John Finucane labelled the move an ambitious initiative.
The present makeup of the Foyle constituency is two Sinn Féin MLAs, two SDLP MLAs, and one DUP MLA.
