Gardaí are investigating after a man in his 40s was shot dead in Dún Laoghaire in Dublin.
It happened at around 8.30am this morning at Patrician Park on Kill Avenue.
His body has been removed from the scene, which remains sealed off, as Gardaí carry out their investigation.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place, and the Coroner has been notified.
