Issues surrounding litter on beaches has been raised at a meeting of Inishowen Municipal District.
The problem is emphasised by the presence of broken glass on the beach with Cllr calling for signage and further enforcement of littering rules.
It was revealed that across last year there were around 40 fines issued by Donegal County Council for littering offences.
