People who are without water are being urged to report the issue as soon as possible.
Cllr Michael McClafferty says he is aware of residents in parts of West Donegal, particularly those living on higher ground, who are experiencing supply issues.
A water tanker can be provided to affected townlands once they have been without supply for 24 hours.
However, Councillor McClafferty says that 24-hour period cannot begin unless the fault has been reported to Uisce Eireann.
He says everyone needs to support each other, particularly as the county continues to experience hot weather:
