The number of housing commencements in Donegal increased again in July, compared with the previous month.
Department of Housing figures released today show that 143 homes were commenced last month, up from 138 in June.
July’s figure is also more than double that of the same month last year, when 61 homes were commenced.
It is the highest monthly figure for housing commencements recorded in Donegal so far this year.
