440 admitted patients were on trolleys in hospitals around the country today, with Letterkenny University Hospital the third most overcrowded this morning.
University Hospital Limerick accounts for the largest number of those with 65, followed by 41 at St. Vincent’s and 40 in Letterkenny.
INMO figures show of the total number of people waiting for beds, 297 are in emergency departments while 143 are in wards elsewhere.
