Children in the Glebe area left without access to a school bus

Concerns have been raised that children in the Glebe area are being left without access to a school bus because of the location of the current drop-off point.

Cllr Jimmy Kavanagh is asking the Council to write to Bus Éireann to request an additional school transport route from the Glebe area to Woodlands National School.

Several pupils are unable to use the existing service because the designated drop-off point is too far away.

Cllr Kavanagh says as a result, parents have had to pay for other modes of school transport on top of their annual fee:
