We’re just days from the start of the Donegal International Rally and the national side of the event has created a real buzz ahead of Friday’s start.
The field in the two wheel drive category is one of the best the rally has ever seen.
Gary McPhilips, Craig Breen, Daniel Mc Kenna, David Bogie, Declan Gallagher and Wesley Patterson are just some of the names who will hope to be in the mix come Sunday’s finish ramp.
Ardara man Declan Gallagher and co driver Ryan Moore head the modified championship in their Toyota Starlet and are looking to build on their lead at the top of the standings.
Surprisingly Declan hasn’t competed that often on his home International.
Last year his efforts came to a stop on the opening day but Declan is focused on a finish this weekend..
