North West athletes on Ireland European Cup Team

 
The Ireland European Cup team for this weekend’s event in Herkalion, Crete has been named and includes a number of north west athletes.
Mark English who has already qualified for the World Championships in Beijing will run the 800m.
Tori Pena has been selected for the pole vault. The Finn Valley athlete hit a season’s best 4.41 in Morocco on Sunday.
Donegal record holder Dempsey Mc Guigan goes in the hammer while Megan Tice who represents Ireland though he Gweedore connections will tackle the High Jump.
The Team Manager will be Finn Valley leader Patsy Mc Gonagle.
