Private sector rents rose in all areas of the country in the first three months of the year according to the Private Residential Tenancies Board, with one of the smallest rises registered in Donegal.
Nationally, rents were up by almost 7 percent in the first quarter, compared to the same time in 2014. IN Donegal, the rise was just over 1%.
The PRTB says the steepest rises were in Dublin, at nearly 10%, but the board’s Director Anne Marie Caulfield says the gap is beginning to narrow………
