Concerns have been raised regarding the traffic lights at McClays Corner in Stranorlar.
The traffic lights which were installed approximately three years ago are said to be faulty and are causing a significant back log of traffic approaching the twin towns from the Letterkenny side.
Local Councillor Patrick McGowan raised a motion in the last Donegal County Council meeting calling for an overall review of traffic management in Donegal.
Speaking to Highland Radio news, he says if a long-term solution isn’t found, then businesses in the area will continue to lose out and more road crashes is inevitable:
