Sommer Lecky qualifies for High Jump Final at European Youth Olympics

Finn Valley’s Sommer Lecky has qualified for the Final of the High Jump at the European Youth Olympics in Georgia.
This morning she cleared 1.72m to secure her place in the final.
Arlene Crossan from Letterkenny also qualified for the next round in the long jump with a jump of 5.73 to continue the good start by local
athlete’s.
Glenfin’s Aaron McGlynn in the 800m, is in action shortly and Brendan O’Donnell from Lifford Athletic Club throws in the
hammer later.
In Cycling, Letterkenny’s Shauna Mc Fadden and Amanda Gallagher from Dunlewey are also in action.
