Derry City have moved to arrest their alarming poor form.
Manager Peter Hutton has brought former Candystripes midfielder Paul Hegarty on board as assistant manager.
City were searching for a new assistant following the departure of Marty McCann last week.
Hegarty had been assistant to former managers Stephen Kenny and Declan Devine and was also manager at Finn Harps.
Hutton has also added Conor McCormack to his playing squad this week.
The Foylesiders haven’t won in the Premier Division since a 2-0 victory away to Limerick in April.
