Letterkenny is among seven gateway towns and cities being invited to benefit from a new €14 million Urban Fund launched by the Minister of State Paudie Coffey this week.
The fund is now open and is to be managed by the Northern and Western Regional Assembly (NWRA).
Letterkenny and the other selected towns are invited to submit plans for urban regeneration and transport projects between now and 2020.
