Donegal County Council is urging anyone with waste electronic equipment to dispose of to use one of eight collection depots across the county this month.
The collection points will operate over the next three Saturdays under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment scheme.
The council says Donegal has a strong record under the WEEE scheme, with almost 733 tonnes of electronic waste collected last year.
The local collections will all be open from 10am – 4pm each day.
On August 8th there will be depots in Falcarragh, Fawnmore, Carrigart in the Chapel Car Park and in Bunbeg at Údarás na Gaeltachta Industrial Estate.
On August 15th Buncrana and Lifford will providing collection points at Nailor’s Row car park and at the Lifford-Clonleigh Resource Centre.
And on August 22nd there will be collection points at Killybegs – Shore Road car park.
Bundoran – Town Centre car park and in Glencolmcille at the rear of the local Fire Station.
People are reminded that recycling your electrical waste is free of charge.
