Ireland’s Shane Lowry held off the challenge of three major champions to claim the biggest victory of his career as he won the the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
Lowry carded a super final round of 66 to finish 11 under par, two shots ahead of double Masters champion Bubba Watson.
Justin Rose and Jim Furyk were another two shots back after being able to manage final rounds of 72.
The Offaly golfer began the final round two shots off the lead shared by former US Open champions Rose and Furyk.
