A Killybegs councillor says this weekend has been a highly significant one for the cruise industry in the town.

11 people boarded Fred Olsen’s ‘Black Watch’ ahead of a two week voyage to Canada.
It’s been a very good year for Killybegs’ ambition to grow as a cruise destination, with bigger ships coming in and a high number of bookings for next year.
