Body found near Manorcunningham during search for missing man

Gardai have confirmed a body has been found near Manorcunningham within the past hour.
The body, believed to be that of a man in his sixties was found during a search for a local man who had been missing since yesterday afternoon. That search has now been called off.
Gardai are investigating, but are stressing there is nothing suspicious about the circumstances.
A spokesperson has thanked local people who assisted in the search last night and this morning.
