216 homes without power in Donegal this morning

Anyone taking to the roads this morning is being urged to take extra care.
A wind warning is in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo while a snow and ice warning is in place across the country.
Met Éireann says icy patches are expected to be a particular issue despite winds of up to 100 km per hour overnight.
Power supplies are also affected in some areas – this morning, ESB Networks were reporting 114 homes without power in Carndonagh, they are due to have power restored within the hour.
69 homes were without power in Ballyshannon this morning, they’re due to have their power restored around now, while 33 affected homes in Derrybeg are likely to remain without power until the early afternoon.
