Almost 90,000 euro raised in memory of Buncranna tragedy victims

 
Almost 90,000 euro has been raised in memory of the five people who died in last weekend’s pier tragedy in Buncranna.
A justgiving page which initially set a target of 5,000 pounds sterling has received almost 48,000 pounds – or 60,000 euro in donations so far.
9,000 euro was raised in a fundraiser in New York on Thursday night while a woman in Buncranna has raised just under 20,000 euro for the victims families.
All five were laid to rest together in their native Derry on Thursday.
