Dublin’s James McCarthy to escape further punishment for tussle with McElhinney

It’s reported that James McCarthy is unlikely to receive further punishment for his tangle with Donegal’s Martin Mc Elhinney.
Both Mc Carthy and the Donegal man got second yellow cards and were sent off following a tussle.
Slow motion replays showed Mc Carthy put his hand in Mc Elhinneys face with a thumb towards the eye, it’s thought that nothing further will come from it.
