Stoke awaiting details on the full extend of Shay’s injury

Stoke City will monitor Shay Given’s progress this week after the keeper picked up a groin injury in the first half of Saturday’s defeat to Manchester City.
It’s worrying times for the Donegal man who hopes to secure a place on the Irish squad for this summers European Championships in France.
Earlier indications are suggesting the injury is not as severe as first feared but he will go through a series of test this week.
Shay has only recently returned from knee surgery and the club is awaiting details on the full extend of the injury.
