There have been huge celebrations across the country, as the Irish team have made it through to the last 16 of the Euros.
Fans have been partying in Ireland and France, after we beat Italy 1 – 0, following a late goal.
President Michael D Higgins has also congratulated the team on their win.
He praised the fact that both the Republic and Northern Ireland have qualified for the knockout stages.
