Sinead Jennings and Chloe Magee will see Olympic action later today in Rio.
Letterkenny rower Jennings, who is competing in her first games and is under her married name Sinead Lynch, goes in the delayed semi final of the Women’s Lightweight Double Sculls with her partner Claire Lambe.
Yesterday’s rowing events were cancelled due to inclement weather.
A top three finish will secure a place in Friday’s final.
Sinead is due in the water around 1pm.
Elsewhere, Raphoe’s Chloe Magee will start her third Olympic Games in Badminton this afternoon.
She has a tough task to start, taking on the world number two in the women’s singles competition, Wang Yihan from China.
Chloe is due to begin her match with the silver medalist from London 2012 at 1 o’clock.
Her second match in group p against Germany’s Karen Schnasse will be held on Saturday.
The 27 year old is creating Donegal history by becoming the first sportsperson from the county to compete at three Olympic Games.
Chloe won a match in her previous two games in London and Beijing.
