Students receiving their First Round CAO offers today

Over 52 thousand applicants to the CAO are receiving their first round offers this morning, with applicants now able to check online if they they’ve been offered a course at cao.ie.
Courses including Architecture and Engineering have seen some rises in points due to renewed interest in the Construction sector.
At Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Level 8 courses have seen increases in the points requirements for Law, Quantity Surveying and Earkly Childhood, Care and Education.
At level 6 and 7, the steepest increases are in Agriculture, Architectural Technology and Fashion with Promotion.
There are also increases in other courses, including Building Services and Renewable Energy, Electronic / Computer Engineering, Computer Games Development and Food Science and Nutrition.
