The campaign to have the HSE take over the running of Aras Gweedore nursing home in West Donegal is stepping up, with a number of public meetings and initiatives planned.
The facility is run by the local community but its been claimed that anticipated future demand, coupled with the need to meet with HIQA requirements presents a challenge that the community cannot meet.
Deputy Thomas Pringle says the HSE is taking over the building, which will allow for structural improvements, but he says that’s not enough…….
