The owners of a filling station in Inishowen has been injured after three men armed with batons robbed them at the premises near Fahan.
The incident happened shortly before 9 o’clock last night.
Gardaí say the owner and his wife were struck with batons, and both are being treated in hospital for non life threatening injuries.
The assailants wore hoodies and scarves, and made off in a silver or grey car with a quantity of cigarettes.
