Council can take a lead role in tackling suicide deaths in Donegal – O’Domhnaill

A County Councillor says the local authority should take a lead role in tackling the number of deaths by suicide in Donegal.
Official figures state that 26 people died by suicide last year but many experts feel the actual figure is much higher.
Councillor Seamus O’Domhnaill wants the council to set up a forum to analyse the current level of services in Donegal and how they can be improved and better accessed:
