Investigation launched into attack in Buncrana

An investigation has been launched in Buncrana after a man is believed to have been assaulted with a sword in the Earlsfort area of the town.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:20am on Tuesday last with the man being taken to Letterkenny University Hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries.
Gardai have confirmed that no arrests have been made but the investigation is ongoing.
