Patsy McGonagle will be the special guest at the 41st Donegal Sport Star Awards at the end of the month.
The Finn Valley AC man has been Team Manager to the Irish Athletic teams at four Olympic games since Sydney in 2000 and was also involved in Athens in 2004.
Having played his part in the last five games, Patsy stepped away from Olympic management when the summer games in Rio Brazil came to an end.
The announcement was made at Monday evening’s launch in Letterkenny.
The 41st awards will take place on Friday 27th January in the Mount Errigal Hotel.
