Cork City player Conor McCormack was happy to get the win over his old side Derry City, in the league of Ireland last night.
McCormack, who has had stints and Shamrock Rovers, St Patrick’s Athletic was also part of Kenny Shiels’ set-up last season before making the switch to league leaders Cork.
After the game. McCormack said that he knew it would be a tough game against Derry so he was happy to come out on top.
Despite the frustration of being sidelined due to injury, John Dunleavy is enjoying the football at Cork City this season.
Cork have won 100% of their games so far and Dunleavy said it is no surprise because of their continuous improvement over the year.
The league leaders are taking each game as it comes, according to Dunleavy who is hoping to returning to the playing field soon..
