Residents in Gamble Park in Castlederg are said to be left reeling following the removal of old street lighting to the rear of premises on the estate.
According to Transport NI, a new street lighting scheme means that while old lights have been removed only some have been replaced.
Local Councillor Ruairi Mc Hugh says this response is completely unacceptable.
He says that he is pursuing the matter further by contacting the Divisional Manager asking him to urgently review the decision:
