Quadrathon starts today in Inishowen

The Inishowen Quadrathon has started this morning which means over 300 runners will be on route each day as they attempt to conquer the Inishowen 100 including hill climbs like Mamore gap, so there is no soft options there.
Today’s run starts in Moville and heads through Greencastle, Shroove before making the tough climb into and out of Kinnego Bay.
There will be a large volume of runners on the road and extra care is need around Kinnego / Ballyharry between 10:30 & 12;00.
Today’s race finishes in Malin town with leaders due in after 12 noon and last person home about 2 o clock.
The event continues on Friday with the Malin Marathon, Saturday is the West Inishowen Marathon and it finishes on Sunday with the Muff Marathon.
