In College’s Gaelic Football the L.Y.I.T. Men’s team defeated G.M.I.T. BY 3 pts today in Galway to go through to the Higher Education Division 2  semi final. Full time score today was the L.Y.I.T.1-16 G.M.I.T. 1-13 The goal scorer for Letterkenny was Darach “Jigger” O’Connor. L.Y.I.T. under the management of Aidy Glackin today trailed by 8 pts at one stage but rallied with a great second half performance to set up a Semi-Final against the Garda College likely to be next Wednesday
