A Donegal County Councillor says an issue of public safety has now been resolved after the installation of new public lights at Lismonaghan Road in Letterkenny.
For a long period of time, a substantial amount of the road leading to housing estates was without lighting.
Councillor Dessie Shiels says this work combined with the construction of a new public footpath at Rowan Park has greatly improved public safety in the area:
