North West players involved in Sigerson Semi Finals

N-U-I Galway and U-C-D will meet in Saturday’s Sigerson Cup Final.
Galway qualified for their first decider in 15 years with a 2-12 to 15-points victory over D-I-T.

Last year’s beaten finalists U-C-D saw off Jordanstown by 18-points to 1-13 after two periods of extra-time.
The University Ulster side featured 11 players from the north west in their starting line.
Kilcar’s Eoin McHugh started in the half forward line while Tyrone’s Lee Brennan hit 3pts, Mark Bradley scored their goal and the Tyrone trio of Frank Burns, Ronan McNamee and Rory Brennan knocked over 2pts each.
